Students "Brown Bag" It
Getting to know one another was the object of a lesson in Sharon Sullivan's third grade class at Cline. Her students shared items from their "Brown Bag Special" to help their new friends get to know them better.
Joshua Zapf shared a necklace that represents his family because "we help each other at all times." Lauren Morrow showed us a pointer the represents what she wants to be when she grows up: a teacher!
Jason Thomas's picture of a piano showed his classmates that he likes to play. Ryan Wolf shared a special event in his life: when he won the gold medal in swim team.
Kaitlyn McDonald shared a spy recorder disguised as lipstick because of her favorite mystery book, Mary Kate, and Ashley. Evan Rosenthal showed us a car from the MIT Museum in Boston because it represents what he wants to be when he grow up: an inventor.
“The children were so clever in helping us to know more about themselves with their choices of representational items,” Sullivan said.
